Church Website Design

Your website is open
when your doors aren't.

It's where a family checks service times on a Saturday night, where a first-time guest decides whether to visit, and where your members find what's next. Faith Interactive builds custom church websites around how your church actually works, not forced into a template, so everyone who lands there finds their way.

What's included

Custom church website design, start to finish

Every church website we design is built around two audiences: the guest deciding whether to visit, and the member who needs something fast. That shapes what we build.

Custom design

A site designed for your church specifically, not a theme with your logo dropped in.

Content strategy

The right pages, in the right order, with clear paths like plan a visit, service times, and what to expect.

Mobile-first

Designed for the phone first, because that's where most people find you.

Easy updates

Your team can add events, post sermons, and edit pages without a developer.

Custom vs. a template

Custom church website design vs. a template or builder

A church website builder gets you online fast, but every church on it shares the same layouts, and you're limited to what the template allows. Custom church website design starts from your church: your ministries, your visitors, your next steps. The site guides people instead of just listing information.

That said, a builder is the right call for some churches. If you need a site live this week on a tight budget, our self-serve platform Echo starts at $25/month. If you want a site designed specifically for your church, that's what custom design is for.

How it works

How we design and build your website

01

We meet

We start by learning your church: your mission, your ministries, and the people you're trying to reach. We look at what's working on your current site, what isn't, and what a first-time guest needs to find fast. This is where we agree on the goals your website has to hit.

02

We design

We create a custom concept built around those goals and how your visitors and members actually use the site, not a template with your logo dropped in. You review it, ask questions, and shape the direction with us before a single page is built. You'll see where it's going before it's ever live.

03

We build

We build your site and test everything thoroughly across phones, tablets, and desktops, because most people will meet your church on a phone. We set up the tools your church needs, from sermons and events to giving, inside a system your team can actually manage.

04

We launch

We launch your site and stay available afterward. You're never handed a finished website and left on your own: the Fi Platform keeps it secure and backed up, and there's a real person to call when you need a change.

Common questions

How much does a church website cost?

Church websites start free for church plants (with a $25/month hosting and platform fee), $249 for small churches, and $549 for medium churches. Multi-site and large churches receive a custom quote. Every site includes hosting, mobile-responsive design, and support. See our pricing page for details.

Do you use templates or build custom websites?

We build custom church websites, designed specifically for your church, not a theme.

What should a church website include?

At minimum: service times, a clear "plan a visit" path, what to expect for first-time guests, and an easy way to give. Most churches also add sermons, events, and ministry pages. We help you decide what belongs based on how your church actually works.

Can our team update the website ourselves?

Yes. We build every site so your staff can add events, post sermons, and edit pages without a developer. If you'd rather hand it off, our optional content service ($100/month) handles updates for you.

Do you work with churches outside California?

Yes. We're based in Orange County, California, and design custom church websites for Christ-centered churches across the United States.

Do you offer any other services in addition to web design for churches?

Yes, we also do branding design for churches. Have a look at our Services page.
